STEM Boxes Unlocking Curiosity in Young Minds

By LPDF Team · July 2025

Hands-on STEM kits delivered to remote schools in Bankura are sparking scientific curiosity and creative problem-solving among tribal students.

The Challenge

For many students in remote Bankura schools, science has only ever been something read from a textbook. STEM boxes change that by putting hands-on kits directly into their hands.

Our Approach

Working in small groups around shared tables, students build, test and explore together while teachers guide them through each activity — turning abstract ideas into things they can see and touch.

The Impact

The result is a classroom where curiosity comes first: students ask more questions, try things out for themselves and grow in confidence as creative problem-solvers.
