Village Rallies That Inspire a Movement for Education

By LPDF Team · October 2025

How LPDF's banner campaigns and community awareness drives across Purulia are mobilizing parents to prioritize their children's schooling.

The Challenge

In many villages across Purulia, the biggest barrier to school attendance isn't infrastructure — it's the everyday pressure to prioritize work over classrooms.

Our Approach

Our village rallies bring together parents, teachers, and local leaders with banners, street theatre, and open conversations about why consistent schooling matters.

The Impact

The campaigns are slow, grassroots work, but the shift is visible: more parents are showing up to enrollment drives, and more children are staying in school past the first few grades.
